This is our contribution to the Nordic coffee culture. A well-balanced mix of flavour of nut and chocolate.

This coffee is of the highest quality. All coffee we at Johan & Nyström buys in is specialty coffeeWhich means that it's got over 80 points on a 100-point scale. In order to score that high, farmers are required to take good care of their farms, their crops and, above all, their coffee trees. All the farmers we work with are not certified according to frameworks and regulations, but they all work in sustainable methods and value both the earth and the people who use it.

Our purchasing philosophy is based on buying as much as we can from as few producers as possible. In this way, we can create long-term relationships with farmers who share our philosophy and, together, make a real difference. Because, in fact, it is by continually opening the quality that we can, together, raise the standards of coffee farmers throughout the world.

So we are buying a lot of the coffee we put in our brew blends, and so some very special fun microloots that we are then launching like our Seasonal Origins this year. In this way, we can be on more parts of each farm than if we just bought some sacks of a microlobe.

Our bridge blends are broken down by the following philosophy : some from Central or South America, where origins such as Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru or Honduras are represented. Here we have several farms and cooperatives that we have been working with for a long time. Then there's always a part from East Africa, either from Burundi or from Ethiopia. Here, too, we have been working with these producers for years and their coffee is always of the highest quality.

The last ingredient is from Brazil, a country with an incredibly large coffee production. The climate and the weather in the high plateans provide the ideal conditions for the coffee to be happy. Brazilian coffee from Brazil often has a bad name when the country allows for strong pesticides, but also to a large extent cultivated in an industrial way and sells low-quality coffee, which is roasted by roasting roasting throughout the world.

That's not the coffee we're buying. None of the coffee farmers we work with want to spray their cultivation with anything at all, because it interferes with the natural cycle of various plants, insects and animals in the yard. This is because it is a very important thing to do with the European Union's support for the future.

The coffee we buy is grown at a high altitude in slopes where the coffee plants are happy, and the beans are developing more and better flavours. We like to buy really good coffee and pay a fair price for it. As it is with the demand for quality that we can see the way forward for the coffee industry.

The coffee will then be mixed and roasted by our roasting champions in Skogogoose, off Stockholm, and each brew mix has its own specific roasting profile. So that, even if the origins are changed during the course of the year, you will recognise the taste of good!
